Every day, we work together, collaborate, and strive toward common goals. But what happens outside the walls of BDESK? Each of us has our own hobbies, passions, and adventures that inspire us.
We are launching a new segment called “BDESK Team - Inspiration,” where we will share stories about our colleagues.
This time,it's Rolands Kiseļus, who is a foreman in BDESK production, but a passionate bicycle tourist in his free time. At the end of last year, he and his fellow enthusiasts went on a two-week cycling tour around the island of Corsica.
Rolands says:
“I am an experienced cycle tourist. I have traveled around the Baltic States, Scandinavia, and several European countries. This time, my adventure took me to Corsica. We even made a special packing box at work for my bike to arrive safely at its destination.”
In two weeks,the team cycled around almost the entire island – 690 km, reaching 1 450 m above sea level (Rolands' personal record). Along the way, they enjoyed impressive views, learned about the island's history and local culture, and, ofcourse, tasted local food and wine.
“The trip is over, but vivid memories, positive emotions, and photographs remain,” says Rolands.
